Blood & Tears

Greetings! Blood & Tears is collection of experimental and (usually) free verse poetry by me, Ángel Naranjo (.pseud).

I started writing back in 2024 and still do to this day. Poetry means a lot to me and I don't think it has a specific set of rules, anything can be considered poetry if you have the eyes to see. For me it has always been a way to express myself in a world where I am rejected just for existing, or to remember my pain is not just a temporary, fleeting thing. It is something to learn from, as painful as it is to do so.

It is in human nature to look for affection, for understanding, for a hand to hold. These poems are my way of offering my hand, of searching to be understood and understanding.

One last thing dear reader, as a warning, my poems can be violent, grotesque, and at times triggering, so tread carefully. Some are in english and some in spanish (since it is my native language).
